Written in Latin the publication’s title roughly translates to: A Careful Description & Exceedingly Artistic Expression in Pictures of the Exceedingly Rich Treasury of Nature Throughout the Entire History of Natural Science.
These engravings date between 1734 and 1765 and are folio size and were coloured by hand.
Presented in wooden Italian mouldings, these frames were bespoke made and hand-crafted to conservation standards.
